The earliest years of the club through 1972 were known as the "Wind Creek Years," when the rock & gem show was a "rock swap" held at the Wind Creek State Park.  Bob had souvenirs of those years and brought rocks & specimens that he had collected all over the state.  He talked about some of the field trips he'd been on, and related many anecdotes about club members past & present.  All the kids left with rocks that Bob had brought for them.
