Membership Dues
Family
Membership $25
Family Membership consists of a
primary or head of household, and a spouse or significant other in the family.
This family may include up
to (5) children 18 years or younger that live at the same household address.
If and adult child, 19
years or older or a dependent adult family member living at the same household
address
is
included, then additional dues of $10 per person shall be required.
Children
ages 8 through 18 will be considered Junior Members.
Single
Adult Membership $20
A Single adult membership is
anyone 19 years or older that will be the only member of the household joining
the club.
Student
Membership $15
A Student is an adult that in
enrolled in an accredited academic institution in the state of Alabama.
Every member with an email address on the
application shall receive our monthly Newsletter subscription.
Members joining after June 1 in a calendar
year pay 1/2 price for the current year.
Renewal dues are paid at the full rate regardless of the time it is paid.
The "Dues Year" runs from January 1
through December 31; dues are paid per calendar year. Each year the dues
renewal period is from November 1st thru December 31st. A
membership card is issued with each new year.
Your current membership ID card gives you the privilege to participate as a member in good standing when at events.
Members that fail to renew will be considered
“not in good standing” and will not be allowed to participate sponsored events.
A portion of your dues fee goes toward club
liability insurance which is required to use the workshop equipment and to
participate in sponsored events.
Your membership ID card is also your name
badge. You can obtain a badge holder at any of our hospitality tables.
You will be required to show your membership ID if wish to use the workshop or go on a field trips. If you misplace your membership ID you can obtain a duplicate upon request. Be sure to leave ample time to receive your new card before showing up to a field trip or you will be turned away.
