|Pink tabular brithiolite with golden eggletonite, zoned aegirine and yellow zircon on analcite and feldspar., 3M Big Rock Quarry, Pulaski County, Arkansas. This specimen is from a thin vein that contained the first eggletonite that Mike Howard and I recognized from the quarry. The Smithsonian had sent us a tiny fragment from the type specimen to look at and very shortly we found several small pegmatites that contained the mineral. Small amounts have turned up two more times since then, but it is not a common mineral in the quarry. Imaged with a Canon 40D, 23mm Nikon objective mounted on a 300m|
