Allanite on feldspar with chlorite and titanite from the 3M Big Rock Quarry, Pulaski County, Arkansas. I ran XRD on these prisms 30 years ago and they are allanite, but no chemical data. Very unusual form for allanite. This is material from a large fenitized roof pendant that contained a lot of unusual minerals. It was mined out in the 1980's. FOV is about .4 X .6mm. Imaged with a Canon 40D, 23mm Nikon objective and 300mm Canon FD telephoto in a tube configuration. Stacked using Combine Z software.
