| AMLS has lost another dear
friend. Frances Ferguson passed away on March 5. Frances was a
longtime member known for her enthusiasm for rockhounding. We will
miss her contagious smile, her joyful laughter, and her company.
Hers will be the most beautiful singing in Heaven. We will miss you,
Frances. |

We are all terribly
saddened at the loss of our dear friend and fellow rockhound, Edwin Elam.
Like the hole that remains in the earth when we've discovered and
collected a beautiful rock, Ed's passing leaves an empty hole in the
hearts of all of us in the AMLS community. God has collected
one of His treasures. We will miss you, Ed.
