•  The Alabama Mineral & Lapidary Society is a non-profit organization for people interested in
    geology, mineralogy, paleontology and lapidary arts.

• Meetings are the second Friday of each month at 6:30 PM. (except September, the month of our annual gem show)

• Meetings are approximately two hours.

• Visitors are welcome; we love for kids to join us!

• Our meeting location is the Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church, 3139 Cahaba Heights Road, Cahaba Heights, Alabama 

• Club sponsored field trips & joint trips with other clubs.

• Club sponsored Rock and Mineral Show.  

• Learn to cut and polish with club owned rock saws and cabbing equipment.

Dues:

• The "Dues Year" runs from January 1 through December 31; dues are paid per calendar year.

• Family $25, Single $20, Junior/Student $15; these all include a Newsletter subscription.

• Members joining after June 1 in a calendar year pay 1/2 price for the current year.

• Members' dues are renewed each November for the following calendar year.
